PJ Properties let on the Assured Shorthold tenancy agreement under Part 1 of the Housing Act 1988.

One of the most important criteria to note with Assured Shorthold Tenancies is that if more than one person is named as the tenant the responsibility for the rent is shared. The following clause is taken from our property contracts:

"Where more than one person is named as Tenant in this Agreement the liability of the individual tenants shall be joint and several".
